ARMEN DIVANYAN

He is also a composer who has written instrumental and chamber music as well as songs. The arrangements of many songs are done by him.
Since June, 1996 the supervisor of “AREVIK” children’s and youth pop- folk ensemble has been Armen Divanyan, who has a long-term experience in working with children. From the very first day of his supervising the ensemble has got a new style and character. |

A new repertoire was created. The old songs were rearranged and represented to the audience in quite a new light. Armen Divanyan produced several new albums of folk and pop-modern songs. Due to his hard efforts the annual pan-Armenian TV contest-festival “AREVIK” has been organized since 2001.

ARPINE HOVHANNISYAN
Vocal coach
Soloist, pedagogue, choir-master, AREVIK’s vocal coach Arpine Hovhannisyan with her husband Mr. Divanyan has been working with the alumni of “AREVIK” since 1996. She helps even 3-years-old children to act already like skillful actors and good singers but at the same time advising them to be frank, open-hearted, and free and feel unembarrassed on the stage in order to make the audience believe them. Apart from teaching soloist children to all the nuances of perfect singing A. Hovhannisyan also helps them to embody the character of the song, let it be a person, an animal or something else. |

The majority of A. Hovhannisyan’s alumni continue the career of a singer. She is the director of many clips shot based on children’s songs several years. During the TV program “AREVIK” A. Hovhannisyan taught the children of Armenia and Diaspora how to sing their favorite songs. She also sings several songs with children of this ensemble. A. Hovhannisyan has made her best efforts for creation of septet “AREVIK”. |

TAGUHI GEVORGYAN
Dance teacher
She teaches the soloists and singers to dance. At the time of her childhood/1986-1996/ she was singing in the ensemble “AREVIK” too.

BAGRAT, LILIA DIVANYAN
Except for creating a new and attractive pavilions and concert-stages for the ensemble "AREVIK" Bagrat Divanyan also makes computer animations, computer graphics and clips, which make the program particularly interesting.
The colored and unique stage-dressing of soloists and all participants of “AREVIK” are designed by suit's modeler and designer Lilia Divanyan. |

HISTORY
“AREVIK” is 29-year-old ensemble of the Public Radio of Armenia. During these fruitful years a number of songs was recorded which are now preserved in the “Golden Fund” of the Public Radio of Armenia and in Moscow. The ensemble had concert-tours in many countries such as Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Bulgaria, Iraq, and USA and also in some cities of former Soviet Union – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Odessa, Crimea, etc. Some song records of “AREVIK” were made in the well-known Russian “Melody” studio.
7 or 8 generations have changed since foundation of the ensemble but the ensemble is still faithful to its traditions, thus keeping all its old and nice way of life. The children’s and youth pop-folk ensemble “AREVIK” has gained a new, modern and fresh character recently. Many famous composers, poets for children and lyrists gathered round the ensemble to bring their own contribution to the development of the Armenian music.
One can always admire singing of “AREVIK” alumni at Governmental, official and many other concerts and TV shows. |
